Group

The kitty for your crew

A team, a group of friends, a collective with no legal status: you have a kitty but no bank account, and rarely any wish to force everyone to sign up. That is exactly what Flishbook was designed for.

No friction

🤝

A shared kitty with no bank account

Sports team, group of friends, unregistered club: pool the kitty without opening an account. Flishbook moves no money — it just keeps the accounts, clearly, for everyone.

📱

Join by QR, no account needed

One treasurer can run the whole thing and add the others without forcing anyone to sign up. Each person joins the pool with a QR scan, checks the accounts and logs their expenses — even without an account.

Vaults to keep your projects tidy

Split the kitty into envelopes: the March outing, the joint gift, the gear. Each vault has its own tracking, so you always know how much is left in each envelope.

What few apps can do

🏦

A real treasury

Not just who owes what: the pool actually holds money. Contributions, expenses paid by the pot, what is left — you always know what is in there.

🍺

Priced items

Coffee, beers, snacks: set up a catalogue with prices. Everyone helps themselves and declares it with one scan — handy for guests, who leave with their slate up to date.

🤝

Loans between members

Someone covers for someone else? Record the loan: it creates a debt, the borrower confirms it, and it clears with the normal settlements. No interest, nothing forgotten.

Frequently asked questions

Does everyone need an account?

No. One person is enough: the treasurer can record for the others, and anyone who wants to see their balance joins by scanning a QR code — no sign-up, no password.

Can we keep several projects in one kitty?

Yes, with vaults: the March outing, the group gift, the gear. Each envelope has its own amount, without opening a separate pool per project.

What if someone fronts money for the group?

That is an expense they paid: they become a creditor of the group, and the balance says so. If they are covering one specific person, record it as a loan between members instead.
