Terms of Use

1. Purpose
These terms of use (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the Flishbook service (the "Service"), published by Humanee Sàrl, a Swiss limited liability company, Vevey (Switzerland), registered under number CHE-270.975.215 (the "Publisher").
By creating a pool or joining an existing pool, you accept these Terms without reservation.
2. Description of the Service
Flishbook is a tool for tracking and calculating shared expenses within a group. It records the expenses added by members, computes each person's shares, and suggests settlements to balance the accounts.
Flishbook is not a payment service and does not move any funds. Settlements between members are made by their own means, outside the Service. The Publisher never intervenes in the actual financial flows.
3. Access and account
The Service is accessible through a web browser. A first pool can be created without an account; an account (identified by an email address, login by one-time code) can be linked to keep access across several devices.
You are responsible for the confidentiality of the invitation and recovery links you generate, and for the use made of your access.
4. Free use and subscription
One active pool is free, with no time limit. Beyond that, a pay-what-you-want subscription gives access to several active pools and to more participants. The pricing terms in force are presented within the Service.
The subscription is managed through our payment provider; it is commitment-free and can be cancelled at any time from your account area.
5. Personal data
We process only the data strictly necessary to run the Service (declared identity, email, recorded expenses and balances), hosted with our cloud hosting providers.
No data is ever resold, and the Service runs no advertising or tracking. You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, exercisable at hello@flishbook.com. Deleting your account anonymises your identity data while preserving the accounting balance of the affected pools.
6. User commitments
You undertake to provide accurate information, to use the Service only for lawful purposes, and not to impair its integrity or that of other users.
The amounts and the accuracy of the expenses entered are the sole responsibility of the members of each pool.
7. Liability
The Service is provided "as is". The Publisher uses reasonable means to ensure its availability and the accuracy of the calculations, without any guarantee of being free from interruption or error.
As the Service moves no funds, the Publisher cannot be held liable for settlements made or not made between members, nor for any disputes arising from them.
8. Intellectual property
The Flishbook brand, the Service and its components (interface, code, content) are protected and remain the property of the Publisher. The data you enter belongs to you.
9. Modification and termination
The Publisher may change the Service and these Terms; substantial changes are flagged. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute falls under the competent courts of Lausanne (Switzerland), failing amicable resolution.
